There will be something entertaining for each and every member of the family during the multi-faceted Murphys Homecoming Weekend Friday and Saturday in and around the cool environs of the Murphys Community Park.
Friday night activities include an ice cream social. On Saturday, the fun filled family day includes duck races, live music from the Calaveras Community Band, activities for kids, an old timers luncheon, cornhole and much more.
The park’s Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) license prohibits the bringing of wine, beer or liquor into the park at any of the events.
Friends and neighbors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a series of small town America gatherings.
