Middle Fork Stanislaus River Hike, Sand Bar Flat to Spring Gap
Date(s) - 11/02/2019
A palette of autumn colors will please your eye on this month’s Tuolumne County Trailhead trip along the Middle Fork Stanislaus River. It’s hard to say what’s the most compelling attraction, though: the river, the Dogwoods and Big-leaf Maples, the bright mosses on the rocks, the wildlife, or the remnants of hydro-electric infrastructure. Drink it all in on this moderately-easy 7 mile hike. Bring water, trail snacks/lunch. Dogs welcome. To RSVP and receive meet-up instructions, go to the “Contact Us” page at kaad-lp.org. Refer to TCT in the subject line. The Tuolumne County Trailhead program airs on KAAD-LP 103.5 FM (Sonora’s community radio station) on second and fourth weekends at 12:30pm; hikes are monthly on first Saturdays.
