August 30, 2025 – SIERRA NEVADA LOGGING MUSEUM is having the once a year JAMBOREE fundraiser in White Pines (by Arnold, CA). Gates open at 9:30 AM. FAMILY FUN day up in the cool mountain air, games for the children, snow cones and Food. Competition starting at 10AM. Amateurs, Men & Women, Pro, Speed, Axe Throw, Choker Setting, Hot Saw and more (some events my be subject to change.) Adults are $8.00, Children age 12 and under free.
The Museum’s seasonal hours are 12 to 4pm Fri, Sat, Sun. closed Winter. Ph. 209-795-6782.
Pancake Breakfast
Join Greater Arnold Business Association (GABA) for a delicious Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, August 30th from 7am – 11am at White Pines Park in Arnold. Enjoy fluffy pancakes, eggs, sausage, fresh orange juice, tea, and coffee — all served with a smile.
Fuel up before heading to the Friends of Sierra Nevada’s Annual Logging Jamboree, and help support a great local organization while you’re at it!
