The guest speaker for the League of Women Voters of the Mother Lode January General Meeting will be Tami Mariscal, Director of Behavior Health for Tuolumne County. She will speak about mental health in the County. Topics such as the effect of homelessness, sadness in our children and the recent increase of suicides especially among young adults. She will be available to answer audience questions. The general public is invited to attend.
Mental Health is one of the “Issues of Emphasis” that the Mother Lode League has chosen to study. It shares some of the issues the organization’s Study Committee has discovered in its work
