The Jordan Reyes Memorial “Full Throttle Drive For Life” blood drive will again be held at Sonora Sport & Fitness Center at 13760 Mono Way. This will be the 8th annual blood drive held in honor of Jordan Reyes who was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident on September 11th 2011.
This event has raised over 700 units of blood in the past seven years which goes directly to the Red Cross to help supply our local hospitals when the need for blood is at critical stages.
There will be a silent auction, raffle and “Full Throttle Drive For Life” T-shirts being sold at the event.
This has become a community event that all of the local fire agencies attend and support as well as flying “THE FLAG” atop the extended ladder truck.
All proceeds from the event help support the Jordan Reyes Columbia College Fire Academy Scholarship which is awarded to one graduating student from the fire academy each semester.
