On Saturday, August 21, 2021 between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM Tuolumne County will be holding their Annual Household Hazardous Waste & Paint Collection Event for residents and qualifying businesses (BUSINESSES MUST MAKE APPOINTMENT). The event will be held in Big Oak Flat at the Tuolumne County Road Operations / Maintenance yard, located just off Highway 120. Please enter from Catholic Cemetery St.
This is the time to safely dispose any of the old and unwanted cleaners, paints, pesticides, pool chemicals, contaminated motor oil and gasoline taking up space around the garage, house and / or yard.
Appointments are not necessary for residential drop-off, however for qualifying businesses, an appointment to drop off hazardous waste is required. Please call (800) 811-2435 for general questions or to see if you are a qualifying business.
