Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians and Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians are collaborating to host an Honoring Mother Earth Day two-day event that includes a volunteer service day on Friday 4/21 from 3-6pm, followed by a celebration on 4/22 from 11am-4:00pm both at Woods Creek Rotary Park. The celebration will begin with an Opening Ceremony followed by Traditional Songs, Dance & Drumming. 15+ Community Booths, Indian Market, Unique Gifts & Crafts, and Indian Tacos.
The intention behind this event is to inspire all of Tuolumne County to think 7-generations ahead in taking care of each other and our planet.
