Tuolumne County Resource Conservation District is hosting a winter session of their Healthy Soil Forum series. Landowners and agricultural producers of all kinds are encouraged to attend, and the event is also open to the general public.
Speakers and Topics
• Theresa Kunch: USDA—NRCS Soil Scientist
Theresa will display and discuss the Web Soil Survey, a user-friendly and interactive online mapping tool that provides soil data for 95% of the nation’s counties.
• Matt Nolte: Director of Wondernut Farm
Matt will provide insight into the farm’s unique approach to animal husbandry, grazing practices, ecological stewardship, and on-farm education.
