October is Arts and Humanities month and October 7th is California Arts Day. Join fellow citizens and community groups in a collective art experience. Described as a “walking theatrical performance,” our parade will also glow after dark!
Everyone is invited to register themselves, their family, their business, club or group as participants. Then get busy building your small float, prop or costume. Walk, stroll, bike, drum, dance or sing down Main St. in Jamestown. Think Mardi Gras in the Motherlode!
We offer free classes in the art of “making” your creations, each weekend in the months of August and September. We have materials and great collaborators to make your idea’s come to life!
