Learn what supplies you need and how to secure your shelter if you are required to stay in one location for a period of time.
We all went through the pandemic, so we understand what it means to shelter in place, but what if there was a chemical or biological disaster or major wind storm.
Would you know how to keep your family safe?
What supplies do you need?
How do you seal off vents/windows from outside contaminants?
How do you turn off your gas?
How do you stay informed and communicate with others?
We are also going to cover basic radio communications and practice with our CERT radios so you feel very comfortable using radios.
We will cover how to call someone, how to respond to someone calling you and proper radio etiquette.
Please rsvp at twainhartecert@gmail.com for planning purposes.
