Feeney Park is open to the public year-round during daylight hours and is the only facility of its kind along the Highway 4 corridor of Calaveras County. The Foundation looks after the park and upgrades its offerings based on community input. Two big events are held each year to raise funds to pay for park maintenance and construction: Mr. Frog’s Wild Ride is held each spring along rural roads in East Calaveras County and the Murphys Gold Rush Street Faire on the first Saturday in October on Main St. in Murphys in conjunction with the Grape Stomp.
