“Deathtrap” by Fourth Wall
Date(s) - 11/05/2022
7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Just in time for Halloween thrills, Fourth Wall Entertainment Troupe presents “Deathtrap,” written by Ira Levin and directed by Cyndie Klorer, at the The Metropolitan in San Andreas, CA.
In this darkly comic murder mystery, once-successful playwright Sidney Bruhl (Kristopher Mandel) receives a package from his former student Clifford Anderson (Chance Tillery). Inside is an unproduced script that’s better than anything Sidney has written in years. Much to his wife, Myra’s (Lauren Ramirez) dismay, Sidney undertakes a plan to lure Clifford to his country home, murder him and then announce the script as his own work. But twists and turns abound, and add in the machinations of a meddlesome Scandinavian psychic (Rhonda Merrill) and a stern attorney who is not all that he seems (Denny Bowen), and you have a thriller that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats until the final curtain falls.
Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 pm, and Sundays at 2:00 pm through November 6. Tickets are $15 for the general public and $10 for seniors, and can be purchased at the door prior to curtain or online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/deathtrap-tickets-412441221797.
