Canary Cottage is an old downtown Victorian that’s seen better days. Currently, it’s a rundown board-and-care facility for the elderly. When an 88-year old Miss April goes missing but is later found at the bus station, everybody breathes a sigh of relief. Not Miss April. She’s pretty sure it was her first brush with dementia and it terrifies her.
Jake Edmondson is a local playwright, videographer, and actor. Canary Cottage is his second play. It began life as a one-act in 2014, and debuted as a full-length play in 2017.
