In San Andreas – Every Tuesday 6:30 PM

1. NEW SQUARE DANCE INSTRUCTION STARTING May 7th – Our caller, SCOT BYARS, is one of the Best in the State, if not in the country. He will be starting a new PLUS LEVEL Square Dancing instruction series which will last for at least 12 weeks. (New square dancers in Calaveras County – free lessons for first 3 sessions – other beginners outside Calaveras in other clubs – $30 per month for 4 lessons. Experienced dancers at the Mainstream level or any other level – $8 per night or $30 per month for 4 lessons per month.)

2, Our Tuesday night workshops for lessons/dancing at other levels are held every week of the year (except Christmas Day and New Years Day) – We open the doors at 6PM and start dancing at 6:30 PM and dance ’til 9:00 P.M. Experienced PLUS dancers and MAINSTREAM dancers are also welcome to join us – Tips for these other dance levels will also be offered each evening depending on the number of attendees who dance at each of these levels. We are lucky to have an AIR-CONDITIONED DANCE HALL, and plenty of parking behind the Town Hall. We also always have fingerfood, lemonade and ice tea available at each of our workshops. Come on a 5th Tuesday also, because we always have a “party” atmosphere with even more food.

3. When the PLUS instruction period ends – perhaps around mid-August, Scot’s spouse and partner, ERIN BYARS, one of the best teachers and Cuers of ROUND DANCING in the country, will begin a course to teach ROUND DANCING to all of us. Again, everybody is welcome, because there may also be “tips” at the Intermediate (post newcomer), Mainstream, and PLUS dancing levels at each workshop, depending on the number of attendees present for each level.

We fall into four categories, ARTS, EDUCATIONAL, MUSIC, and SENIORS. COME on OUT, get GOOD EXERCISE, MEET many NICE PEOPLE, and HAVE FUN ! !
