The Calaveras Community Foundation (CCF) and Vitalant are continuing their partnership to collect life-saving blood at this month’s blood drive. Blood donated ensures that there is blood available for Calaveras County patients. You can help by donating blood. The donation process is easy and only takes approximately an hour to complete.
To prepare for your donation, first make an appointment by going to donors.vitalant.org and use blood drive code SMFM399 or scan the QR code below. You can also call 877-258-4825 to make an appointment.
On the day of your donation be sure to bring your photo I.D., eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water. Donors must be 16 years or older, 16 year old donors need to have a signed Vitalant parent consent form.
The Calaveras Community Foundation is proud to sponsor and support the Calaveras Community blood drives. The CCF understands the importance of giving back to the community. The CCF has provided over $3,000,000 in competitive grants, scholarships, and assistance since 2000.
Blood drives are a vital part of coming together as a community to support those in need.
Mark your calendars for Nov. 29, 2022, from 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm. Come to the San Andreas Town Hall at 24 Church Hill Road. The community needs your support.
The CCF and the community thank you for being a blood donor. By donating blood you are helping to save lives with us!
