Come to Meadows Park in downtown Twain Harte on Saturday, May 17 to watch local artists paint likenesses of local birds that will be posted at various business in town. Twain Harte has been designated as Audubon Bird Town in a new beautification project designed to educate residents, collaborate with local businesses and promote local birds. Nine local artists will be in the park between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to do the paintings. Ten businesses have agreed to have the paintings posted at their locations. This is a joint project between Central Sierra Audubon Society, Twain Harte Community Services District and the Twain Harte Chamber of Commerce. It’s a Plein Air Fest (celebration of outdoor painting)!
