Applications to join the Christmas Parade in Sonora the day after Thanksgiving are due Wednesday, November 16, 2022 before 4:00 PM.
This Annual Historic Downtown Sonora Christmas Parade is an annual tradition and has been going for 39 years. This night-time Parade gives you the opportunity to SHINE, so decorate festively, and let’s get everyone who attends the parade in the holiday spirit!!
The City is happy to announce that the 39th Annual Historic Downtown Sonora Christmas Parade will be held on
Friday, November 25, 2022 Parade starts promptly at 6:00 p.m.
TIME:
All Entries must be lined up by 4:30 p.m.
The staging area is located on School Street between Snell & Washington Street. No through traffic is allowed on School Street after 4:00 p.m.
Only Vehicles in the parade will be allowed on School Street/staging area location after 4:00 p.m.
PARADE LINEUP:
The Staging Area is along School Street between Snell & Washington Street.
Entries must enter from the corner of School Street/ N. Washington Street.
Please make sure that your entry number is in clear view when entering the Staging Area. Please note Snell Street will be closed starting at 4:00 p.m., from N. Green to Bonanza Road so you will not be able to access the
staging area from Snell Street.
NO changes to entries can be made after Parade numbers and maps have been mailed out.
