Please join us at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds in Sonora on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 1-6 PM for the Annie Oakley Academy.
Nearly 200 participants attended the event last year and participated in several workshops and demonstrations on home defense, handgun and shotgun familiarization, survival and first aid techniques. The afternoon will be followed by dinner and a raffle of amazing gift baskets and guns.
All proceeds from this event benefit the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team. The SAR team is comprised of hard working volunteers from the community who dedicate personal time and have a passion to help those in need. Search and Rescue members are highly trained and prepared to respond quickly to a search, rescue or disaster incident. They are always a call away from springing into action to help and serve their community in a time of need and assist as mutual aid to surrounding agencies.
Tickets available at the Sheriff’s Office as well as Hurst Ranch, The Farmory, Mountain Bookshop, and Banks Glass.
