Culture comes alive! Join the Me-Wuk Tribe in celebration of their annual black oak acorn harvest.
September 10th and 11th all day long!
Enjoy traditional dance, arts & crafts and food. Taste nupa, a traditional acorn soup, or have an Indian taco (or three)!
BBQ dinner (on Saturday only), and an inter-tribal Pow Wow!
Free admission.
Dinner Friday night at 7 for everyone coming in. Dancing to follow.
Parking is available with a shuttle on Saturday and Sunday at the Casino behind the parking garage.
Continental breakfast for all vendors, staff, and guests will be in the main hall starting at 9.
Vendors need to be in place and set up for 10 am.
The Tuolumne Me-Wuk group will open the Festival at 12 Noon on the dance floor behind the Tribal Hall.
Dancing will continue in the Roundhouse following the opening.
Pow-Wow will start at 10:30am.
The bbq dinner will be at 4pm in the main hall. Donations are being accepted for all meals.
Sunday breakfast will start at 9am for all guests in the main hall.
Updates will be made as they happen. We will have first aide on site, plenty of food vendors, cold drinks and lots of vendors!
