Join us on Saturday, August 10th from 4-9pm for the 3rd Summer Fun Street Fair on 7th Street in downtown Mariposa. Last year’s event was a huge success with over 600 people in attendance from near and far! The Summer Fun Street Fair is an all-age, free entry, event with live bands playing all our favorite dance songs and over 30 ‘Made in Mariposa’ vendors including local chefs, artists, and artisans, farmers, and entertainers. There will be delicious food, sweets, cider, beer, gifts, face painting, art, and free kid’s activities this year. CASA of Mariposa County is hosting the event and wants to promote community, economy and healthy families. As an incentive to purchase from the all-local vendors and Downtown Business Partners, every $5 spent at the Street Fair will get attendees an entry to win incredible prizes including Disneyland packages, zoo tickets, vacation packages, sports tickets and more!
This event is hosted by our local non-profit organization CASA (or Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Mariposa County- which has been serving children in foster care and the court system since 2004! A portion of all proceeds will go to support CASA work to help every child and youth have a safe, loving and permanent home as quickly as possible.
This event-packed day is perfect for families and adults alike. Downtown Business Partners are offering incredible promotions exclusively on August 10th and will donate a portion of the proceeds to CASA of Mariposa County. Every $5 spent at a Downtown Business Partner location will get customers additional entries to win for the Street Fair Giveaway. The Summer Fun Street Fair will take place on 7th Street in downtown Mariposa and will be featuring all local merchants and downtown businesses as we team up to make a difference in children’s lives. Music and festivities will start up at 4 PM and go until 9 PM. This is a one of a kind event like nothing else you’ve seen. Come experience the best of Mariposa!
