Come enjoy the warm weather with a stroll downtown! You will find music and art, food and drink. Look for the banners up and down Washington Street and pop in to meet our merchants that have so graciously opened their doors for 2nd Saturday Art Night.

ART:

Grand opening of a “Red Church Gallery Show” at the new office 21 N. Washington St. 5:00-8:00 pm featuring Red Church plein air works alongside other artists such as the extraordinary Charles Surrendorf, several talented local photographers, and additional resident artists. All works will be for sale including prints and note cards. This show will remain in the gallery for the summer months so that visitors and locals will have an opportunity to take home their very own image of the Red Church.

Aloft Art Gallery at Baer’s will partner with FOAC as hosts for an adoption event from 5:00-8:00 pm. Inside the gallery artists will display some fun works focused on animals. There will be a raffle of a beautiful Doris Olsen painting, several animal portraits, and a gift basket full of many things you need for a new or existing animal family member. Tickets will be sold for the entire month and the drawing will be made at the July 2nd Saturday event.

Downtown Shoes is hosting The Automatics with Joe Rose
Servente’s Saloon is hosting the Blue Oak Band
Fittin’ Pretty Bras & Boutique is hosting DMV
Sonora Brewery will be offering fully loaded barbecue oysters, live music, and outside community dining.
Rustic Roses will be hosting live music.
with more in-store entertainment being booked.

2nd Saturday Free Summer Concerts in Coffill Park are Back

Music in the park is back. The Sonora Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce that our Summer Concerts in Coffill Park Series will be opened by Clan Dyken at 8:00 p.m. Entry is FREE, however, there will be limited entry and concert-goers will need to bring their own chairs. There will also be a no-host bar.

Additional Concert Dates are:

July 10 — California Creedence
August 14 — Stomp Box
September 11 — Chains Required
October 9 — The Hot Dark
