This event has been postponed and there is not yet a new date for the event. There are no known coronaviruus cases in Tuolumne County including Jamestown Elementary School but out of an abundance of caution the event was canceled by the organizers March 12th.

The Jamestown Run was established over 40 years ago by Jamestown Elementary School teachers and on March 14, 2020 we’ll be carrying on a tradition of encouraging people in our community to live a more healthy lifestyle while raising important funds for our school. The run is an annual 2 mile and 5 kilometer community event coordinated by Jamestown Elementary parents, teachers, and staff as well as volunteers from around Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties.
On March 14th, 2020, you are invited to the annual Jamestown Run, a 2 mile, 10K run/walk. All proceeds from this fundraiser go directly towards enrichment programs that will benefit the students at Jamestown Elementary. Come have fun with friends and family while ensuring our students get to participate in 6th Grade Science Camp and the school band has the instruments, uniforms, and other supplies needed. Join us at one of the most magnificent times of year in the green hills that stretch outside of Jamestown. This 2 mile and 10k road run starts at the heart of Jamestown, the elementary school, and stretches out of town into the rolling foothills and then loops back to the school.
