Historically the Community Dinner has served upwards of 1,200 individuals seeking to share in the holiday celebration and warm meal at the Casino. Preparations for the large-scale event have been underway for well over a month, including several early email exchanges with Santa to ensure his availability on the 21st. Regarding the evening this year, Tribal Chairman Lloyd Mathiesen was pensive: “This has been a year unlike any other, filled with many challenges and hardships. Everyone’s lives have been turned upside down. And now, more than ever we feel the need to reach out to the community and provide a holiday meal that community members can share with loved ones.”
