Sonora High School AP Scholar Report
Sonora High School students achieved great success on AP exams in 2018! The AP program offers several AP Scholar Awards to recognize high school students who have demonstrated college-level achievement through AP courses and exams.
The three levels of distinction that students are able to earn are Ap Scholar, AP Scholar with Honors, and AP Scholar with Distinction. The AP Scholar distinction is granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams. Ten Sonora High School students earned this honor! The students who earned the AP Scholar distinction are Elizabeth Beath, Allison Deknoblough, Lillian Fox, Ryan Grogan, Cole Parish, Alec Rutledge, Jessamyn Skutches, Kaarina Thompson, Renee Trampush, and Britain Traub.
The AP Scholar with Honor distinction is granted to students receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. Sonora High School had four students who earned the distinction of AP Scholar with Honors. The students who earned the AP Scholar with Honors award are Joseph Accurso, Emma Corcoran, Thomasine Lane, and David (Aaron) Wheeler.
Lastly, the AP Scholar with Distinction award is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. Sonora High School had four students who achieved this great honor! The students who earned the AP Scholar with Distinction award are Jackson Bouchard, Jacob Evans, Phoenix Farris, and Weston Goularte. Sonora High School congratulates these hard-working students on their academic success and is proud to call them Wildcats!
