Mother Lode Community Website
The Mother Lode’s community website myMotherLode.com has been utilized by more citizens than ever before during the past month.
During recent storms the need for information was great and myMotherLode as a community website is here to serve the needs of the public. From National Weather Service advisories and severe storm warnings to school closures, power outages and garbage service delay- the community has a place online to read, see photos and video of the breaking news as it is happening and your opinions are always welcome for any story on myMotherLode.com.
The reports from the month of February and continuing into March have broken records for visits and number of different people looking at the website. Over the past 31 days, we received 611,000+ visits, resulting in 3 million page views, from 136,000 unique, (different) visitors.
Ninety percent of the 3 million pages are viewed by people in California and naturally the bulk of the visitors are from Tuolumne, Calaveras, Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Amador counties.
