Gerard Ardron, MD, graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1988 and has been providing care as an ophthalmologist in Sonora at Donaldson Eye Care since 1997. He is passionate about health. At the age of nine, though raised in a family of meat eaters, he decided to become vegetarian. Dr. Ardron has gone a step further by following a plant-based vegan diet for over six years. He also gets plenty of physical activity and leads a few exercise groups. Dr. Ardron understands the importance of diet and exercise in preventing chronic disease and shared his knowledge with dozens of community members at a free seminar, Discover Health, in Sonora in 2014.
