Mihoko Fujita, MD, is a radiation oncologist with Sonora Regional Cancer Center. Dr. Fujita completed her medical training in Japan at the University of Tokushima and residency training at the University of Kentucky Hospital. She began working as an otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat specialist), treating head and neck tumors. Dr. Fujita enjoyed working with the radiation oncologists providing care for her patients so much that she eventually decided to change her specialty to radiation oncology. While Dr. Fujita may not be able to cure all patients, she does find joy in being able to help a large number of patients.
