T.U.D. Proposes Rate Increases

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne Utilities District is proposing a base rate increase for both water and sewer services effective July 1 of this year. Under the new proposed rates the water base rate for a 5/8’s or 3/4 inch meter customer would increase in 2009-2010 by $7.09 per month. The proposed sewer rate increase for a single family residential service would increase by $1.66 a month. T.U.D. has scheduled four meetings to educate the public.
