The Aronos Research Club will celebrate the joys of summer with a dance filled with fun and great for families.
“Hot Night At Aronos” is set for Saturday, August 23, 2025, at the Aronos Clubhouse located at 37 Elkin Street in downtown Sonora (just up from the Red Church). Bring the family and join the fun for an alcohol free evening. Dance to music from the 1950s up to the present day.
Come at 6:30 p.m. for dance lessons on how to do the East Coast Swing. The dancing follows at 7 p.m. No need to bring a partner. We’ll dance to music in a variety of styles from the 50’s to current times. No Charge, but donations welcome.
This is an alcohol-free, smoke-free family friendly event filled with fun, food and an opportunity for the community to come together.
The Aronos Research Club boasts of having the best dance floor in Tuolumne County.
The Aronos Research Club is a service organization established in 1915.
Originally a women’s club, we now welcome men in the membership. Their goal is to promote an interest in arts, civics, history, literature, and music.
The club raises funds for college scholarships, provides grants to teachers for educational supplies, and hosts Coffee with a Cop.
