Long before the evil Queen Ravenna (Theron) was vanquished by Snow White, her sister, Freya (Blunt), gained the ability to freeze things after suffering heartbreaking betrayal. The young ice queen spends decades in a remote wintry palace raising a legion of deadly huntsmen who are forbidden to love. Eric (Hemsworth) and warrior Sara (Chastain) defy her and are banished. Then Freya learns of her sister’s demise she sends her huntsmen to bring her the Magic Mirror. The Mirror lends even greater power to Freya’s army making them undefeatable…unless the banished huntsmen can defeat her.
