Manslaughter Defendant Also Charged With Rape

A 21-year-old Bakersfield man facing four manslaughter counts for a fatal accident over the weekend has been charged with rape. Michael Curtis Junior denied a statutory rape charge yesterday in Kern Superior Court. Police discovered the outstanding charge after arresting him for the accident that killed four passengers Sunday.
