No Pay Raises For California State Officials

There will be NO pay raises for Governor Gray Davis or state lawmakers this year. The California Citizens
Compensation Commission also voted today to deny pay raises to state constitutional officers like the lieutenant governor and state treasurer, noting the
uncertain economy.
