Sixty Percent Of Registered Voters Will Vote

State officials predict almost 60 percent of registered voters will vote in next week’s election. Secretary of State Bill Jones says about 58 percent of voters are expected at the polls. That’s slightly higher than the state’s lowest turnout ever in November 1998.
