Economic Turmoil Feared In Port Shutdown

If the West Coast port shutdown continues even a few more days, economic experts expect more plant closings, job losses and financial market turmoil in the US and Asia. After a full week of West Coast seaport paralysis the storage facilities at beef, pork and poultry processing facilities across the country are full with products that can’t be shipped.
