State fire officials contained a 10 to 15-acre fire near Calistoga at around midnight. The fire burned on the Calistoga side of Mount Saint Helena near Robert Louis Stevenson Park. Highway 29 was shut down for several miles for a short time as up to 110 firefighters battled the blaze. California Department of Forestry spokeswoman Gabrielle Avina says the fire started around 4:45 in the afternoon. It was sparked by a carbon particle from a tailpipe. Firefighters saved one building from the flames. There were no known injuries.
