SPI Draws Another Lawsuit

An environmental group is suing the state´s largest private landowner, Sierra Pacific Industries, charging that the timber company is hurting the oyster population in Humboldt Bay. The Ecological Rights Foundation claims SPI is releasing carcinogenic dioxins into the bay from a sawmill.
