Calaveras Fire Burns Grasslands

Fire units and aircraft responded to a fire on North Shelton Road at Highway 26 just before 2:30 p.m. Friday afternoon. That fire was burning grasslands in Western Calaveras County near the San Joaquin county line. No structures were threatened in this fire. The cause is under investigation.
