Meter Readers Get Canine Relief

An new state law may have dog-owning P.G and E. customers growling. The law increases the liability of dog owners if their pets bite somebody, like a Pacific Gas and Electric meter reader or power line worker. The power utility says more than 800 meter readers have been attacked in the past 10 years by dogs defending their yards.
