Local Troops Come Home Sunday

Over 40 local National Guard troops are coming home Sunday after four months in Kuwait. The 184th infantry battalion, stationed in Oakdale has just completed their tour of duty that included guarding Patriot missile batteries in the Persian Gulf state. The battalion is expected to arrive at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield Sunday morning and will be back in Oakdale at about 11:30 a.m. The public is invited to attend the welcoming ceremony at the armory in Oakdale.
