Body Found May Be Of Missing SD Girl

Police say there is a “high probability´´ that the body found this afternoon by searchers looking for a missing San Diego girl is Danielle van Dam. Police officials say they cannot be certain that the body is that of Danielle. But, says Lieutenant Jim Collins, no other girls have been reported missing in the county. A volunteer searcher notified the sheriff´s department that a body had been found at around 2 p.m. this afternoon. It was found in a clump of roadside weeds in eastern San Diego. Police would not say what condition the body was found in.
