Van Dam Search Called Off

The search for Danielle van Dam has been called off and a memorial to the San Diego girl has been posted on the Internet. That´s after a body believed to be hers was found yesterday east of San Diego. A positive identification could take several days. Initial reports indicated that the body had been burned, but authorities are only saying it was partially decomposed. Authorities haven´t determined the cause of death. But they say they´re hopeful they will find out what happened. Investigators have been searching for clues in the area where the remains were found. A neighbor of the van Dam family has been charged with murder. A Web site dedicated to finding Danielle posted a memorial to the seven year old today.
