Valley Water Oppose Federal Water Plan

Some San Joaquin Valley water districts say a federal law aimed at protecting endangered species is limiting their water. The districts have filed a lawsuit against the U-S Fish and Wildlife Service and the National Marine Fisheries Service. The districts allege the federal agencies have used the Endangered Species Act to illegally cause major changes in their water system.
