Davis Blasted In Fresno

Republican nominee for governor Bill Simon says his November opponent, incumbent Governor Gray Davis, was too busy raising money for his re-election campaign to deal with the state´s multi-billion dollar fiscal problems. At a Fresno meeting with agricultural leaders, Simon also promised to reduce the “regulatory burden on farmers.´´ He gave no specifics, saying he was interested in listening to farm concerns.
