Copper Cove Village Area Sewage Spill

About 1,000 gallons of raw sewage leaked into Black Creek along O´Byrnes Ferry Road, between Connor Estates and Copper Cove Drive, Monday morning. Calaveras County Water District crews discovered the sewage spill around 9 a.m. Monday. The CCWD says the spill was due to a mechanical failure. Investigators are trying to determine if the spill had any affect on the waters of Lake Tulloch.
