Bypass Work Continues

Steel goes up on an overpass now under construction for the Sonora Bypass project. The support structure is for the new overcrossing is at Mono Way and Sanguinetti Road. That stretch of roadway will carry traffic on west and eastbound Highway 108 over Mono Way. Work is also being done at night and restricts surface street traffic in the area to just one lane with delays expected. This is the same spot when a similar support structure collasped. The cause of that incident has not been released to the public. Another project currently underway is the winter erosion control preparation work for the up-coming rainy season.
