State Fair Approves Settlement to Keep Racing Going

The state fair´s board of directors has approved a lawsuit settlement that will provide for two more years of horse racing at Cal Expo. The agreement between the board and Capitol Racing will result in increased rent for Cal Expo and at least $200,000 a year in improvements to the backstretch and track.
