Niner’s Garcia NFL Player Of Week

Quarterback Jeff Garcia of the 49ers has been named the National Football League offensive player of the week from the four opening playoff games. Garcia led the San Francisco comeback from a 24-point deficit to edge the New York Giants 39-to-38. He passed for 331 yards that yielded three touchdowns, added a pair of two-point conversion passes and ran for 60 additional yards.
