Davis Wants Cuts, Not Taxes

Governor Davis wants lawmakers to pass a package of midyear budget cuts that doesn´t include any tax increases. The democratic governor says he plans to veto a plan already approved by the Legislature. The package calls for a hike in the vehicle license fee.
