With St. Patrick´s Day now but a week away, cabbage growers in California´s Imperial Valley and Arizona say there will be ample supplies on the market this year. Farm prices for cabbage have been strong all winter because heavy rain slowed planting in Texas. That has greatly reduced production there and boosted prices for cabbage grown in other regions. Retailers like to feature cabbage for the Irish-American holiday.
