Government Not Checking Meatpacking Plants

State and federal security agencies have announced they are not currently checking security arrangements at meatpacking and processing facilities. There have been reports that these businesses have been called by people claiming they are with the Office of Homeland Security and asking what specific security precautions have been taken.
